The Most Awesome Ships Wheel – Part 2
Many thanks to Brian Holmes who returned to assemble the Worlds Most Fabulous ships wheel. There is still more to be done, but we love the results. That Octopus centerpiece is the sculpting and casting work of Michael Teasdale; video here. And the walnut rims are the work of the late great Hugh Hood. There is more to come; we need to restore the patina and add on one of Hugh’s favorite quotes to the inner rim. “I must go down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky, And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by;” — John Masefield

Pilothouse Insulation and Windows
Yeah, I know it does not look like a mile stone, but I can not properly express how happy I am to be done with the pink insulation. Many thanks to everyone that helped with that! Seeker Crew ROCK!
Insulation, Welding, and Starting in the Pilothouse
Thanks to Chris and Mark and others for working in Doug’s Pink Puzzle Factory. We are closing in on being done with this phase of the work. I almost miss sandblasting. Don’t forget to use a miller welding helmet for safety on your project.
Boat Insulation, Cedar, Dragons, and Cannons and more
Much work, creativity and inventiveness was around this past week. Saturday’s weather was beautiful and the Tulsa Gun show drew in several visitors including Matt from Pitbull Airguns who may be building the Worlds Largest Air Rifle for Seeker. May thanks to all to the crew help. The dragons are done, the red cedar is planed, and a LOT of pink foam has been installed. Where to find out pop over to these guys everything there is to understand about sidewinder boat.
