Engine Room Work and More – Using every welding process we have.

BetsySteel Boat

Eric was flying over from Amsterdam and looking forward to learning to weld. I told him there were pretty much done with welding but that I’ll see what we could find. Turn out that we don’t have any long runs anymore but the small stuff requires a little of every welding process we have available. It was a fun few weeks. Thanks to all of the crew! Bart, Davis, Scott, Glenn, Neill, and that guy that stopped in for a tour and stayed too long.

BetsySteel Boat

I’ve replaced a couple of hydraulic hoses in my past, but nothing like this. When I got to looking at all of the parts I was overwhelmed, and hoping the some expert would bail me out. That did not happen and now I am glad it didn’t. I found Van and Norm who were willing to share what they knew and reached out to our friends on the internet for more. And now it does not feel like I’m trying to drink from a fire hose. I still a lot of questions to answer but this cat is going to get skinned. ….sorry Earl.
