I’m sorry that so many have lost their jobs and some have lost friends due to COVID-19. But what a great opportunity to rework our lives into something that works better for us. A time to step back and make a change. Start a new job, start a new business, start a new hobby, LEARN TO COOK. : ) I hope you might fine some fabrication inspiration here and then turn off the computer, get out and start on your creation.

Best of Luck to you, and share your adventure on our FaceBook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/svseeker/ It’s a troll free environment, so it’s a great place to share you project even if you’re just a beginner. All of our first welds look like crap. Many of mine still do. : ) –Doug

Boat Heads – Part 3 – Red Cedar Sinks

BetsySteel Boat

Build yourself some beautiful bathroom counter tops and sinks from a dozen red cedar planks and some fiberglass. You can do it. And you don’t need our help. But I am very grateful for Maxime that build light sconces and for Rick Wilkinson who spent the week helping with the sinks and other fixtures for the boat’s heads.

WANTED: Arch-Nemesis

BetsySteel Boat

Are you that voice of experience, reason, and knowledge? Do you agree that; “This boat will never see water. It will break up and sink. The welding is substandard. No one should ever go on that boat. The pilot house windows… the propane storage… …and the safety, don’t get me started… Besides Doug Jackson has no leadership ability, can not be trusted, and should never be allowed to launch that boat.” Are you a naval architect, marine engineer, captain, sailor, marine welder, boat builder, Navy, USCG, Come on! I’ve heard it all, but the rest of the world awaits you. And I will support you. Here is your opportunity to speak your mind and do it for a TV audience. Or start your own profitable YouTube channel. Write to me at svseeker@ymail.com with your background experience and list of points you see as failures and I’ll forward your email onto the production company. Thanks –Doug

Fiberglass… Yeah, if there is ever a time to use the Tom Sawyer fence painting scheme, it’s when there is fiberglass work to do. Many thanks to Maxime and Steve.
