What work where your parents doing at age 12? Mine where both working on farms. What work were you doing at age 12? I was mowing lawns and helping on a farm and in a feed store. What work are 12 year old children doing now? How many of them do you think could do 6 to 8 hours in 102F, 39C for days in a row?  Work ethic is not dead yet.

The cargo hold insulation is done and the red cedar is going in. Yes, it smells like a giant hamster cage. Many thanks to Mike Steward, of Team Aerodynamix teamaerodynamix.com and new arrivals Ethan, and Wade, check out their video: https://goo.gl/2FEB8X as well as a timely walk-in by Bob.

Yes, Monkey Bars. I have no idea what the prima donnas of sailing would call it, but they sure look like monkey bars so if they have some other name it’s time to change it. Thanks to James for the welding and grinding help this week.

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.” –Calvin Coolidge

Bart and I took to boat to Skiatook lake and enjoyed the morning rowing it about and sinking it. She’s tippy when lean, holds just enough freeboard when completely flooded, and solid as a rock when weighted on the bow. Basically everything we expected and hoped for. Except the leak in the coolant reservoir that we decided to blame on Lars. 🙂 Oh! And the oars float, even with the oarlocks attached. That slapping noise is me patting myself on the back. –Doug
