Main Hatch Drive Mechanism – Mark II
Freakin Engineers! Why is it they never want the Zen jobs like painting in the bilge? Fortunately a boat project like this has a jobs on the list that appeal to the exacting taste of a Mechanical Engineer working Research and Development for Polaris. So I’ll be painting the engine room bilge, but Seeker now has a much improved main hatch opening system thanks to the skills of John Adams from St Paul Minnesota. And a very secure batten down system thanks in part to Mike at TulsaChain.com. –Doug

Boat Building – Odds and Ends
Seeker is obviously my dream coming true, but it is also literally what I dream about. Specifically I dream about building the things that still need to be done. So this week was all about giving me new dreams by completing several task that keep coming up in dreams. With help from Jon and Brandon work was done on the Trailer / Paint / Mast / Anodes / Bow Rollers / Main Hatch and a few other task. It worked! Last night I dreamed about casting metal. –Doug
