Related term: variable pitch propeller — I believe that's the idea of the Hundestadt variable pitch propeller. In theory it allows the engine to run at its most efficient RPM under different loads. My understanding is that fishing boats use it because of the higher drag loads when towing nets.

Related term: variable pitch propeller — Our 100-year old Brig had a variable pitch propeller powered by a 3-cylinder 2-stroke diesel engine. Yeah, it was an antique. When we needed to back down, the engineer turned a crank to place the blades into reverse. Unfortunately, she’s no longer with us. 😢

53' IIRC; less in submarine mode. What is the POC’s air draft? Can it goes through the Okeechobi Canal? Max 49’ air draft.
