Tormach

The Tormach mill brought computer-controlled machining into the Seeker workshop. It made accurate custom parts possible without depending on outside machine shops.

Lessons

  • Build What You Need If the tool doesn't exist, build it. If you can't afford it, build it. Or fine the path around it. Resourcefulness is often more valuable than resources.
  • Confidence Comes From Competence Not the other way around. Competence is earned through practice, mistakes, and persistence.
